Yes, it is only the last day of September, but Molly has posted her letter to Santa. Anne believes it is backup, to cover the toys she may not get for her birthday. Since she wants about half of the toys in the toy catalog (carefully circled in pink and marked with "M"), not to mention a dozen or so au courant toys being advertised on television, it is doubtful that either the birthday or Santa will fulfill her wishes.

Molly is so organized -- I never think about this kind of thing until Dec 24th.
I learned from Anne today that she wrote to Santa that she was writing early, because she wants a real, live Pikachu and she wanted to give him extra time.
