April 15, 2007. Lost and Found. Black and white kitten, friendly, good with kids, no collar. We've kept her safe and warm overnight but our other cats would prefer if you would come and take her home (if you lost her).-- written an hour before the neighbor came looking for her, before we had posted the notice.
October 17, 2007. Adopted (us, by her). Natasha Fatale, aka Tasha, aka Princess Tubby; friendly, no collar. Very personable, knows a good thing when she sees it. She keeps us safe from birdlike vermin. Our other cats are resigned to her presence.* Note added later: I should have mentioned, this is the same cat, from the first time we saw her as a scrawny teen-ager to today, a plumped out young quean. She got so tubby for awhile that we were worried she was pregnant, but she was just storing up for a winter. She's not to full adulthood even yet.
