The Texan's birthday is December 9th, so our Christmas season does not officially begin until December 10th. So, Saturday we hauled all the decorations out of the attic (disturbing a mouse living there -- clearly Tasha will have to be put on notice so that by Christmas Eve we can genuinely have not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse) and hung the porch lights. Last night, the Santa Claus and Christmas Tree cookie jars were excavated from the cellar, and this morning I am drinking coffee from a goofy Santa mug.
To continue the season's celebrations, more medieval monks. These are actually a high school choir, performing Handel's Messiah as monks who have taken a vow of silence. Enjoy.
