New, Improved (i.e., not leaking) fountain

The marvelous blue and white shabby-chic pot that I had made into a fountain was a little too shabby and not enough chic. It has a slow leak on one end.

The cats really do like the thing, so there has been no time to try to figure out a fix (a liner? some non-toxic glue? I can't even find the leak -- too many crackles in the glaze to localize to the one actually dripping). Instead, throw money at the problem -- go to Freddy's and buy the first pot of the right size and shape. I have been a little worried in any case about the glaze on the more charming pot -- whether it was toxic or not (it was intended for plants, not fountains).

At least this one, while nowhere near as charming as the other, matches well in color. HomoDommus snorted when I made that comment: that I care about the color match of a fountain for the cats to drink out of. (Decoration reminiscent of Tasha provided by Girl-Child.)

Let HomoDommus snort - I'm sorry that the blue and white option didn't work out. Still, the terra cotta is nice in its own way.

Great idea, btw.
