Who the Tudor Are You?

Basically, just an ad for the new season of the television show The Tudors (which I haven't seen, but have heard favors melodrama, scene-chewing, and eye-candy over historical accuracy, but why not?), this website will help you understand the role you might have played in Tudor society, had you lived in 16th Century England.

By the way, wait until the Great Chain of Being comes to a halt (it starts at the top, so for a moment or two you'll think you're a Queen/King before you slide down -- unless of course, you are a Queen/King).

I would, apparently, have been a prostitute, which at least was higher on the hierarchy than thieves or actors. I wouldn't have been disfigured by the diseases that later prostitutes suffered, because they hadn't yet come to English shores. And anyway, by my age, I would have been dead already.

...and I would have been an Abbess! If I were not dead by now, of course...

I'm a dead beggar, and beneath contempt. Sigh.

I am a shepherd, content to live alone with my sheep until I die in about four years.

I lied about my age, and said I aspired to power, hence my elevation to the nobility. I feel so, well, noble.
