This is like rubbing Norm Coleman's nose in it.

This is so cool -- I don't know if you've seen it. Al Franken was giving a talk at the MPR booth at the Minnesota State Fair, and during it, drew, free-hand, from memory, an accurate map of the United States of America. Video below.

Yes, that is cool, but undoubtably you'd never seen his old TV show which begins with him doing just that, only backwards! You start with a clear piece of glass or plastic on which he draws the outline of the United States from behind so that it appears normal to the camera and viewer, but he has to draw it backwards for it to work. Also at the end of the show, they took the video that they made of him doing the drawing and showed it in reverse, so that as the marker slide over the surface, the line disappears.
