Blogging from a distance

I am in a distant state (Minnesota), preparing for my niece's wedding. Much family, much discombobulation, much joy, actually. I have taken upon myself the job of preparing the punches (400 servings), the bridesmaid's veils (3, and one flowergirl's headband) and baking chocolate cakes (2) all for the dessert buffet at the reception on Saturday afternoon. I think I agreed to make 50 brownies, too. It doesn't sound like much, even to me, but it will be a stretch to get it all done, and to the level that I would like them all done. But still fun.

I took a picture of the ribbons and lace, but forgot the cord for transferring photos to the computer, so I'll have to show it later, if at all.
